After the debut film ‘Bombay, March 12’, acclaimed scriptwriter Babu Janardhanan is getting ready with his latest directorial venture named ‘Bhakthi Prasthanam’. Young actor Kunchako Boban has been confirmed for the main role of the film. Babu Janardhan himself will write the script and dialogues for the film. Suraj Venjarmoodu will appear in a double role in the film.
‘Bhakthi Prashtanam’ will be a satirical take on demigods and related frauds that are getting popular in our society these days. The film examines the life of one such yogi and the different belief systems he upholds in different periods of his life. The director promises that this will be an entirely different kind of role for the lead star Kunchako Boban. . The film will be produced by Salim. The music will be done by Afsal Yusaf and lyrics will be by Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma. Babu Janardhanan also has plans for other projects with leading young stars like Prthiviraj and Jayasurya (Based on the life of thief, Maniyan Pillai) after the completion of this project.
