Asianet to host mega stage event in honour of Yesudas Photo Gallery

Yesudas has completed 50 years in the music industry. Asianet will on this occasion host a mega stage event on February 6 at Wellington Island Port Trust Stadium in Kochi. 

Many prominent artistes including music directors Dakshina Moorthy, Ilaiya Raja, Rajamani, Vidya Sagar, Dr. Balamurali Krishna, M. Jayachandran, Sarat, Ouseppachan, ONV Kurup, Yousuf Ali Kecheri, Mohan Sithara, singers K.S. Chithra, Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Usha Uthup, Shreya Goshal, M.G. Sreekumar, G. Venugopal, Kaithapram and Gayathri among many others will participate in the show. 

Super stars Mammooty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Dileep, Manoj. K. Jayan, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Tini Tom, Mallika Sukumaran, Innocent and directors Sathyan Anthikad, Ranjith, Sibi Malayil and Kamal are also expected to grace the show.

Samvritha’s marriage on 1st November 2012

Samvritha sunil, the top heroine from Malayalam film industry is getting married on the 1st of november this year. California based engineer Akhil is the groom. Their engagement was held last month and Samvritha made the public announcement about her wedding during Asianet film awards ceremony held at Dubai. The marriage is expected to be held at Vasava guest house in Kannur.

Samvritha Sunil made her debut in films with Rasikan in 2004. Since then she has acted in a variety of roles, making her one of the top heroines in Malayalam film industry.

Spirit is the new film of director Ranjith

Mohanlal-Ranjith combo’s new Malayalam movie is now titled as Spirit. After 4 years the two legends are uniting together for a movie. All the movie buffs are happy to hear the reunion of the two legends. Ranjith, the Midas of Malayalam film industry has confirmed the news that he is going to join hands with mohanlal for a movie.The shooting will start by March. Under the banner of Aashirvad Cinema, Antony Perumbavoor is producing the film.The female lead and other crew will be announced soon.

Mammootty crosses 1 lakh mark in Facebook Photo Gallery

Everyone was in a jovial mood at the sets of Mammootty-starrer Cobra Tuesday. His fans had all reasons to rejoice as the total number of the actor's Facebook followers had crossed the magical digit of 123456.

Doubling his delight, one among his Facebook friends, Susheela George gave the actor a surprise visit and handed over a cheque of Rs 30 lakh. Mammootty has been actively involved in raising funds for Care and Share foundation, a philanthropic organisation, through social media. He had earlier posted a request both in his blog and twitter seeking financial aid for conducting heart surgeries in children.

Chairperson of Sherwood Group of Schools, Susheela, had then itself responded through twitter that she was willing to support the mission by donating Rs 1 crore. She had already contributed Rs 20 lakh to the cause.

Meanwhile, with more and more fans dropping in at the sets of Cobra in Kalamassery, Mammootty obliged and cut a cake as well.
