Jayaram's love for elephants continue with Thiruvambadi Thamban

After playing the role of an elephant owner in Pattabhishekam and Anachantham, Jayaram is all set to sign M Padmakumar’s forthcoming film Thiruvambadi Thamban. Jayaram will essay the role of an elephant contractor in the film.

Jayaram's love for elephants is known to all. He even owns a huge elephant who is sent for temple festivals. In Thiruvambadi Thamban, Jayaram will essay the role of an elephant contractor named Thiruvambadi Mathan Tharakan who brings elephants from Bihar to Kerala. The script for Thiruvambadi Thamban is written by Suresh Babu and stars Jagathy and Nedumudi Venu amongst others.

Through his character, Jayaram wants to bring to fore the problems faced by elephant contractors in bringing elephants to Kerala. The film is being produced by Gini Cinema and Ouseppachan will be the music director.
